From pre-conception to adulthood, we are widening our reach and opening up new opportunities across the lifelong nutrition journey.As Automation Engineer, you will ensure the proper operation of automation equipment in process lines and utility equipment within an R&D environment, and you will be involved in multiple innovative automation projects working with new technologies.We offer a dynamic, inclusive, and international working environment with many opportunities across different companies, functions, and regions.A Day in the Life of Automation EngineerSupport and troubleshooting in automation for trials and commercial productionImplementation of improvements in process automation on lines for trials and productionProject management in investment projects related to automation equipmentImplementation of change requests in cooperation with the production teamWhat will make you successfulBachelor or Master in automation engineering (HF or FH) or equivalent educationExperience in process automation (preferably in food industry)Good knowledge in PLC programming (Rockwell preferred)Good knowledge in visualization (ideally AVEVA System Platform)High analytical skills for problem solvingTeam player with good communication skillsFluent in German and EnglishAt Nestlé Research and Development in Konolfingen near Bern, Switzerland, we develop for Nestlé worldwide new products, processes, and packaging concepts for a broad range of products in our Nutrition, Dairy, Health Science, and Coffee businesses.
