Nanny/ housekeeper, zug, switzerland*

A busy Swiss family with two children is seeking a permanent live-out Nanny/ Housekeeper to work full-time at their property in Zug. Driving essential. The children (G8/ G10) go to international school and the mother occasionally works from home. The Nanny/ Housekeeper takes care of the children in both shared and sole care. The modern property has four bedrooms and a small garden adjoining fields with great views over the lake. There are no other staff and the atmosphere is relaxed. The property contains high end furnishings, some art work and a great deal of stone There is one small dog. For the Nanny/ Housekeeper the primary duty are the children. The mother cooks the main family meal herself and welcomes assistance. The duties of the Housekeeper/ Nanny: School runs shared with the mother Taking children to activities Planning activities and play dates Caring for the children’s laundry Overseeing packing of school bags Reporting back to mother and support where needed Housekeeping duties when children are at school Assist with preparing meals if needed Requirements:4 years’ experience with similar ages Fluency in German (ideally also English or French)Able to work legally in Switzerland Large range of creative activities to offer children Live within commutable distance Good knowledge of high end housekeeping A good organizer and communicator Written references from past families Valid First Aid certificate Recent security check The Nanny/ Housekeeper needs to be reliable and supportive to the family. Key for the Nanny/ Housekeeper is to connect well with the children and be flexible.
