Our unit Gas Insulated Switchgears (GIS), based in Zürich-Oerlikon, is active in the development and production of gas insulated switching systems. Your Responsibilities Functional lead in a team of 5 primary lead engineers in Switzerland and 5 lead engineers in our operating center (virtual team lead). Overall responsibility for the successful execution of our project portfolio of projects starting with handover from sales through engineering, production to handover to service. Overall technical and commercial responsibility of the portfolio (cost, time, scope). Responsible for a structured project review and definition of contingency measures. Improvement of the execution process in engineering and engineering project management, optimization of the process along the value chain with coordination of the involved departments in engineering, project management, field operations, supply chain and production. Leading design optimizations and cost savings with the defined design-to-value process. Enthusiastically and inclusively living a culture of innovation and driving change. Willingness to travel (10%). Your Background 2 plus years of experience in engineering of primary equipment at level of a lead engineer or excellent technical experience in the field of gas insulated switchgears. Track record of either team management or functional management with strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills. Fluency in English, German a big plus any other language is welcome.
