Your role in our teamEssential DutiesReview sales proposals for customers on technical products and servicesReview layout or plan views for customer proposalsTravel to customer’s site for kick off meetings, sales calls, and sales technical supportMake presentations to customers, OEM’s, users, suppliers, etc.Assist with selection of third-party equipment and component suppliersWork with third-party suppliers to spec equipmentDevelop technical presentations and workshopsRepresent company in a professional manner at trade shows and exposMaintain long term, ongoing, repeat relationshipsAct to close deals and finalize contractsMeet established sales quotas and revenue goalsCommunicate openly, honestly, and constructivelyTake responsibility for and making every effort to resolve communication, trust, and respect concerns and problems with customersGather, analyze, and shares customer technical information and feedbackAssist to identify future customer needs to support growth in company sales revenueProvide technical input to marketingWork with other members of the sales, service and marketing team to achieve common goalsCollaborate with engineering to develop conceptual designsSupplementary FunctionsMaintain up to date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that affect target marketsMaintain up to date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practicesShows a strong eagerness to learn and a positive attitude every dayYour profileEducation, Experience And QualificationsB.S. in engineering or related technical fieldMinimum five years’ experience in sales, mechanical engineering preferredAutomation industry experience a plusJob Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesKnowledge of ProE and AutoCADAbility to work independentlyWell-developed presentation skillsExhibit clear verbal and written communication skillsDisplays excellent customer relations skills and is a very good customer listenerAbility to negotiate contractsKnowledge of marketing and market planningAbility to make effective and persuasive argumentsDisplays organizational skillsAbility to multitaskDemonstrates computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookFluent in German and EnglishAbility to travel up to 50% of the yearCan you find yourself in this profile?
