This role will have no direct reports but will require strong interaction with different stakeholders (PM, Procurement, Legal, and QA etc) and Finance teams on all sites and at a divisional level.
Your Tasks:
May prioritize, delegate, inspect, and/or assist with the work of other procurement staff within the department
Leading project planning activities, defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Developing project schedules, to ensure successful execution within established timelines
Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of both projects
Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks within the projects
Manage the cadence of reporting, updates and escalations on projects with stakeholders
Coordinate and support discussions with internal and client stakeholders; ensure structured follow up process is maintained to track progress, decisions, and changes
Ensures clear and direct 2-way communication within his/her team and other organizations
Proactively manage potential delays, hindrances and develop action plans to address accordingly
Develops insights that can be used to enhance customer satisfaction or other metrics
Develop reports, readouts, and presentations
Challenges the status quo and looks for opportunities to make improvements in the area of the business and beyond
Secures buy-in from key stakeholders
Your Profile:
Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
Strong project management experience (project management certification highly desirable), preferably in a client facing role
Knowledge of purchasing and invoicing principles, procedures and terminology
Proactively seeks to understand internal/external customer and market needs
Ability to analyze and interpret data, and prepare concise reports
Proficient at using common tools used in project management/ management consulting roles (e.g. MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.) or other project planning & management tool
Uses knowledge of his/her own business area and related areas to identify and develop operational/financial improvements
