Cilag AG, member of Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Validation Engineer for a 12 - 24 month contract to be located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland!

The Technology team within MSAT is responsible for the validation and reliability of the sterilization, decontamination and cleaning processes. The team is also responsible for aseptic process simulation (Media Fill) and air flow pattern testing (Smoke Studies). In this role you will primarily work in the area of sterilization processes but also support other areas. As part of major projects in the coming years, these processes will be set up for new plants. You can be part of making the site ready for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sterilization processes

Preparation of protocols and reports for validations and monitoring and support of activities on site

Implement new concepts to improve or replace existing validation approaches

Leading and supporting investigations into process-related problems

Coordination processes and supporting other SMEs during inspections/audits

Providing technical assessments of changes/CAPAs and investigations

Ensure communication of knowledge management regarding sterilization processes improvement

Backup function for other validation activities in the team

Maintain an excellent partnership with all business partners on site and within J&J. Participate in global teams.

Represent MSAT in site-wide or global projects

Contribute to our digital transformation (e.g. digitization and automation of reports, data management, visualization, evaluation of new technologies)

Propose and implement cost improvement projects

Qualifications

Education:

A minimum Bachelor's and/or equivalent, required. Master's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

A minimum 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

Experience in sterilization processes

(operations, engineering, quality department)

Customer focused and quality-conscious

Strong in decision making and problem solving

You are an innovative standout colleague and can propose creative and pragmatic solutions

Ability to work in a global organization and collaborate with multiple partners

Interested in digital transformation and can propose and implement appropriate process improvement

Other:

Proficient in communication and business in German and English, required
