Job Objective The Staff Accountant role is designed to be a cornerstone within the Finance Department, focusing on the efficient processing and the effective management of cash accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The individual will ensure the integrity of financial reports through bank and account reconciliation. This position is integral to the department's success, requiring a professional dedicated to precision, accuracy, and fiscal responsibility. Main Responsibilities Monthly bank reconciliations for association management (AMC) clients as assigned Timely processing of accounts payable & accounts receivable functions Review client expense reports to ensure completeness and accuracy, import into accounting software Assist with preparing schedules and supporting documentation for nonprofit annual audits & related regulatory tax filings Actively participate in building positive team culture at MCI USA, and build strong client relationships All other duties as assigned Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA candidate preferred Zero to three years of related accounting and finance experience Financial Edge, QuickBooks, or Great Plains system experience preferred A desire to succeed, and an eagerness to learn Highly effective written and oral communication skills MCI USA is an established, family-friendly company offering outstanding benefits and significant growth opportunities.
