Congratulations, you’ve made it through to the 2nd interview stage!
During this interview round, you may be asked behavioural/competency-based questions. These questions differ from the more traditional questions as they ask you to “describe what you did”, or “how you handled” a certain situation.
Some common behavioural/competency-based interview questions can be found below. Why not review them and consider how you’d respond?
1. Describe a time when you altered your own behavior to fit the situation?
2. Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a client service issue?
3. Give an example of a difficult or sensitive situation and how you managed it?
4. Describe a time when you had to analyse a problem and generate a solution?
5. Tell me about a time when you set and achieved a goal?
6. Tell me about a time when you worked successfully as a member of a team?
7. Tell me about a time when you had to lead a group to achieve an objective?
8. Describe a situation in which you developed an effective win/win relationship?
9. Describe the level of stress in your job and what you do to manage it?
10. Describe a time you created a plan to achieve a longer-term objective?
